Family Mathletes Is Coming!

On Thursday, February 16th families of students in grades 3,4,5 and 6 are invited to an evening of math fun. You will work together to build tangram and pentomino puzzles, solve brain teasers and break math codes. Younger and older siblings are welcome to work alongside as we celebrate mathematics. Last year our students loved our daylong Mathletes program so this year we are hosting a family version!  Be sure to mark the date on your calendar and come out to this funfilled evening!

Skating Trips Are Back!

On the mornings of Friday, January13, February 3, and March 2  students and staff from Duffin's Bay will fill two ice pads at the Ajax Community Centre . Family members are invited to join in the fun. There is an $8.00 fee which covers the cost of all three excursions. Please send the permission forms and money to the school by Thursday, January 12th at the latest, so we can make supervision arrangements for students that will not be skating. Please note that all students must wear helmets and skates on the ice.

Help Keep Our Kids Safe!

Safety is our prime concern. We ask that no cars use the parking lot to drop off or pick    up students. This is a very busy area, and although we have two designated walking areas, students may forget and walk through this area. Please park your cars on Pittman Cres. and carefully watch for students. Thank you for helping to keep our students safe.
